Design 2.0

“We were “2.0” before 2.0 was cool.”

Design 2.0 is an interactive creative boutique that was founded by Rick Brown, who is best known for creating Beer.com’s “Virtual Bartender” which was a viral sensation all over the World.

Rick’s career began in traditional advertising which gave him a strong understanding of branding, design and creative development. His love of the web led him to focus all of his attention online. Along with his experience at Beer.com, he has had the great privilege of developing campaigns for some of the most cherished brands in the World, including:

  • BlackBerry
  • Laura Secord
  • Kellogg’s
  • Smirnoff
  • The Toronto Maple Leafs
  • The Toronto FC
  • Kraft
  • Labatt (InBev)
  • and many others.

After running Beer.com for several years as Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director, he developed a method of creating powerful, interactive web sites using World-Class open source software. This system gives his clients full control over their own web site content and saves them tens of thousands of dollars without compromising quality or functionality. In fact, this very site was built using those tools.

In addition to web design, Design 2.0 also offers creative consulting, interactive flash, email design and deployment and video production services.
